A beautiful beach is a short walk away and is surrounded by interesting mansions. The curved one-way street keeps the traffic away from the beach area. Bicycles can be carried on the Metro-North train which goes to Milford and New Haven, both within five miles of Hillside Beach so there is no need for a car. Several good restaurants are within walking or biking distance and many will deliver food to you at Hillside Beach. The house was totally renovated in 2009 so everything inside and out are brand new. Summer weather is generally warm with short rain showers to keep the flowers around the house blooming all summer.
